The Benefice is signed up to the A Rocha Eco-Church movement and we have gained a bronze award so far. If you would like to support our environmental work please contact the Rector.

Terracycle

RECYCLING

Please bring empty, clean and flattened crisp packets to the Shillingstone Church Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1.30 – 3.30 PM. These are sent to TerraCycle for recycling.

SCC Post Office

THE POST OFFICE

The Post Office is open at the centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1.30 – 3.30 PM.

There is a well stocked library for anyone to use, open during Post Office opening hours.

Coffee mornings

1st Saturday of each month at the Shillingstone Church Centre, 3rd Saturday of the month at Child Okeford Church, and at Okeford Fitzpaine why not enjoy the Mud Pie Cafe every Saturday at the Village hall. All from From 10.30 AM – 12 PM.

1st Friday of each month at Okeford Fitzpaine Village Hall and Rev’s Roasts on the 2nd Sunday of each month at the Shillingstone Church Centre.

Songs of Praise held quarterly at the Shillingstone Church Centre. An opportunity to sing some favourite hymns and enjoy a lovely afternoon tea. This is a dementia friendly service.
